The people you help
When you become a Youth Ambassador, your suppawt will help provide vital services, to people of all ages with low vision right across Queensland. People just like nine year old Elijah, who, with the right support, tools and training can be independent and live a life without limits.
Be a SuPAWhero like Vienna
Being a Guide Dogs Youth Ambassasdor gives you the opportunity to make a difference in your community. By promoting awareness, inclusivity & raising funds to support vital services, you are making a positive impact in the lives of people living with low vision and blindness.
'Hi, my name is Vienna. When my Grandy lost her sight in one eye, I noticed how difficult she found a lot of her everyday tasks. She lost some of her confidence, stopped driving and even struggled to read her books. So, I decided I wanted to become a Youth Ambassador for Guide Dogs Queensland to help people with vision loss.
Guide Dogs Queensland is so important because they help support all people with vision loss to achieve independence, inclusion, participation and wellbeing. The money we raise will help go towards training the cute Labradors that offer independence, security and companionship to those in need, as well as covering costs for vet bills, dog food, equipment and much more.'
